Hello everyone! Thank you so much for showing interest in Pride! My name is Kayla Sanders and I am 25 years old. I have son name Jhalil and I was born and raised here in Durham, NC. 

The thing to know about me is Cheerleading is my LIFE! I have 17 years of personal experience cheering both all-star and in school, middle school through college (Go Forty- niners). As a coach I have been coaching since I was 19, coaching both school cheer and all- star.

Cheerleading is so important to me because it has always been my safe place, the one place where I always belonged! It taught me so many life lessons and is the sole reason I am the confident adult I am today. So as a coach, my number one goal is to always create the same kind of space for every child I come across. That is why I created Pride, a space all about teaching confidence and being a place where you can be yourself!
